Field Visit – Hong Kong Housing Society’s (HKHS) Tanner Hill project
18 Feb 2019
Prof. Annie Tam, former Permanent Secretary of the HKSAR Government has committed herself to education after her retirement. She does not only teach but also coaches MPUP students and alumni who aspire to a career in civil service.
Thanks to Prof. Tam’s coordination, Prof. May Chu, MPUP Programme Assistant Director and a few MPUP alumni visited “The Tanner Hill” of the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) on 2 February 2019 (Sat). “The Tanner Hill” is the first non-subsidised quality elderly housing project in Hong Kong with incorporation of age-friendly features and advanced technologies.
They were given a tour by the HKHS staff to learn more about the project and the living environment of the residents.
The MPUP alumni appreciated the precious opportunity to have first-hand knowledge about this housing project.
