Dr. Tommy Kwan received his PhD from the Department of Politics and International Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London, focusing on the relationship between political parties and social movements in Taiwan. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the Universit\u00e9 libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. He also used to be a Resident Fellow at the University of T\u00fcbingen in Germany and a visiting associate at the Academia Sinica in Taiwan.<\/p>\n

Besides the academic engagement, Dr. Kwan is an avid writer and radio programme host in Hong Kong. He comments on Hong Kong and Taiwan\u2019s political and cultural scenes. His trilogy of anthologies are published by the China Times Publishing in Taiwan and his forthcoming book,\u00a0Books and the Uncertain World<\/em>, will be published by the Humming Publishing in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n
