Other Requirements

1. Students must fulfill the Term Assessment Requirement of the Graduate School. For details, please refer to Clause 13.0 “Unsatisfactory Performance and Discontinuation of Studies” of the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies which can be accessed from the Graduate School Homepage: https://www.gs.cuhk.edu.hk.
2. A student must achieve a minimum grade of C- in each of the courses taken in order to fulfill the graduation requirements, unless special approval is granted by the Faculty Board.
3. A student must achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 in order to fulfill the graduation requirement, unless special approval is granted by the Graduate Council.

GPEC5801

全球政治經濟理論導論

本科目介紹了廣泛的主題，關鍵概念和全球政治經濟學的主要理論，以及國家政治經濟體如何融入全球體系。科目上半部分，我們將介紹一些方法論，政治經濟學的科學哲學，全球政治經濟體系的歷史，當代的爭議和可能的未來。科目下半部分，我們將介紹學者們所建構的全球政治經濟學主要理論，包括經濟民族主義，現實主義，自由主義和批判理論。擁有國際關係或經濟學的知識將有助於本科目的學習，但不是絕對必要的。本科目的目的是提供了解世界體系運作的理論基礎，並為全球政治經濟學涵蓋的許多領域進一步開展更專業的研究。

國際關係理論

本科目介紹國際關係的主要理論，並特別側重展示理論對當代世界秩序的適用性。本科目亦討論不同理論間的優點與局限性，以作為國際關係研究的基礎。

GPEC5803

社會科學研究方法

本科目集中討論社會科學研究方法及研究資料分析技巧應用，培養學員以社會科學學術探究中採用的設計為本研究模式，研習本地﹑地域或全球課題。內容包括研究設計的基礎概念、資料搜集策略及質性與量性資料分析技巧等。本科目應用質性及量性研究方法分析全球政治經濟議題。

• 每年開設的科目根據可用資源而定，並以學院的許可為依歸。
• *學生只能報讀該課程一次，以符合 ‘Topical Courses’ 或 ‘Regional Courses’ 的要求。
