The tuition fee for admissions in the academic year 2026-27 is HK$210,000 (~US$26,900)* for the whole programme.

For each additional credit unit taken, the tuition fee is HK$8,750 (~US$1,122)*. Students will pay the tuition fee each term based on the credits taken.
In addition to the application fee, applicants are also required to settle a deposit within 2 weeks upon receipt of admission offer. The deposit is non-refundable and the amount paid will be deducted from the total tuition fee.

SCHOLARSHIP AND BURSARY
The MGPE Programme offers entrance scholarships for newly-admitted students. The entrance scholarships may cover HALF of the tuition fee.
Upon successfully submitting their application for admission, students will be automatically considered for an entrance scholarship.
Besides, students with financial needs may apply for bursary which may cover part of their tuition fee.
Selections are made on a rolling basis, considering students’ academic performance as well as their non-academic attributes, such as leadership skills, professional experience, and commitment to service.
As long as you have commenced your study at CUHK, you may apply for other CUHK Scholarships.

ACADEMIC DISTINCTION AWARD
The Academic Distinction Award aims at providing recognition to students with outstanding performance. The criteria of the Award are as follows: students must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.60 upon graduation; and NORMALLY 4 awards will be given to students who graduate with the highest GPA in each academic year.
