About the Public Forum:

Artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping the organization and operation of public service delivery, creating unprecedented potential for not only enhancing but also re-envisioning public governance. The School of Governance and Policy Science (SGPS) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Aviation Security Company Limited (AVSECO) are proud to co-host this landmark forum to bring together government leaders, industry practitioners, and scholars to discuss the opportunities and challenges that AI brings, and to chart actionable pathways for AI-driven public service transformation.

The Public Forum will feature keynote addresses by Ms. Cari Wu, Acting Deputy Commissioner (Digital Infrastructure) of Digital Policy Office of the HKSAR Government, and Mr. Jacob Cheung, Executive Director of AVSECO, followed by a panel discussion with thought leaders and practitioners. At the Forum, SGPS and AVSECO will also sign a Memorandum of Understanding forging a partnership for the study and promotion of AI-empowered public service transformation.
